Codename "Oslo" med Informator och KnowIT

Informator i samarbete med KnowITs Alan Smith (BizTalk Server MVP) presenterar "Oslo"!

Codename "Oslo" was announced in October 2007 as an initiative to group together new and existing technologies to form a platform for the development of the next generation of connected applications. Since then the development of Oslo has been kept under wraps with very little public exposure. The Microsoft Professional Developers Conference (PDC) 2008 will see the first public announcement of the technical details of the Oslo wave of technologies.

Codename "Oslo" consists of three major components:

"Quadrant" - A tool for interacting with modes in a rich and visual manner
Repository Database - A SQL Server database for storing models and model meta-data
"M" - A text based declarative modelling language

This seminar will provide a detailed overview of these technologies and discuss how they can be applied to software design and development in the next wave of Microsoft products. The core Oslo features will be demonstrated using real world examples to highlight the advances in the creation of connected applications.
