ISEB Software Testing Intermediate (inc examination)

This course leads to the ISEB Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing examination (which is completed at the end of the course) and provides test analysts and test managers with highly practical knowledge and techniques. The certificate is a prerequisite to candidates wishing to take either the Analyst or Manager Practitioner certificate, a qualification internationally recognised in the tester community.

This is a three day course with a combination of lectures, workshops, exercises and sample exam questions. Emphasis is placed on the practical application of the material discussed. Delegates will leave with testing skills and techniques which can be applied in the workplace.

Prerequisites:

A thorough knowledge of the Foundation Syllabus is essential. The recommended source is the BCS textbook ‘Software Testing - An ISEB Foundation by Hambling et al.

Examination candidates must hold the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing Candidates with special examination requirements should consult the ISEB web site (www.iseb.org.uk) for the ISEB Special Needs policy. Note that the ISEB must be advised at least four weeks in advance of any special requirements.

Pre-study: Delegates are strongly recommended to revise the Software Testing Foundation materials before attending this course.

Please Note: Please ensure you take your Software Testing Foundation Certificate number or software testing foundation certificate with you to the course, as this information is required by the examining board when registering for the exam. If this information is unavailable please call Donna Rekowski at ISEB on 01793 417459

If taking an exam, candidates are advised that Photo ID must provided (Driving License, Passport and named work ID badges are all acceptable). This an ISEB requirement and delegates will be turned away from the examination if Photo ID is not produced.
