Azure - Building Cloud Based Applications
This three day course provides the knowledge and skills required by web developers to develop and deploy web applications to the Windows Azure platform.
The course will introduce the concepts of Cloud Computing and describe the services provided by the Windows Azure platform. The options for designing developing and deploying web based applications to Azure will be discussed.
The development of web applications for deployment to Windows Azure will be demonstrated along with the Windows Azure deployment model. The use of Azure Storage and SQL Azure databases will be discussed and demonstrated.
The course is delivered I cooperation with IBIZ Solutions.
After completion of this course you will be able to:
- Understand the concepts of Cloud Computing
- Describe the hosting capabilities and architecture of Windows Azure
- Create and deploy a web application to Windows Azure
- Leverage Azure Storage for data, blobs and queues
- Use worker roles to process and synchronize data
- Manage application lifecycles using Windows Azure management tools
- Create relational databases using SQL Azure
